A MOOC FOR CHANGE LEADERSHIP
The goal of the LCTL MOOC is to introduce the leadership and change management required when moving to technology-enabled teaching and learning, including digital, online, hybrid, or blended learning.

By the end of this course, successful participants will be able to:
  • Understand general leadership theory in reference to technology-enabled teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrate knowledge regarding multiple leadership theories in reference to technology-enabled teaching and learning.
  • Outline central issues in the application of multiple leadership theories in reference to technology-enabled teaching and learning.
  • Apply multiple leadership theories in reference to technology-enabled teaching and learning and education change.
  • Apply multiple leadership theories in reference to technology-enabled teaching and learning and education change in your own context.
  • Use case-based methods to strategize and problem-solve in technology-enabled using leadership interventions.
  • Reflect on, evaluate, and demonstrate personal leadership competencies.

In this 5-week course, you will explore the fundamentals of the learning process and various models of online courses to determine which forms of online learning are best for you. Activities address common misconceptions, frustrations and fears about online learning, and introduce techniques to help overcome such obstacles and gain confidence as a learner.
